- Handle Day to Day Company Accounts
- Should have sound knowledge to manage & perform statutory compliance
- Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Should be able to prepare MIS Reports
- Perform variance analysis and review balance sheet and P/L activity to ensure accuracy
- Reconcile activity on a weekly basis and book revenue earned
- Prepare and/or review journal entries of staff
- Maintain checklists for monthly closings and annual audits
- Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
- Assist in the preparation of audit requirements and special projects
- Manage cash to ensure appropriate amounts of cash are held in operating accounts
- Reconcile financial statements as presented in Prophix
- Manage intercompany balances and billings and assist in the reconciliation of any intercompany mismatches
- Assist Controller in the automation of various account processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Provide technical support and advice on Management Accountant
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
- Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers
- Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
- Provide input into department's goal setting process
- Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and in-depth understanding of India GAAP / International accounting standards.
- Awareness of business trends
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like Tally prime and worked on Net Suite ERP is an added advantage.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including V-Lookups and pivot tables
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
- High sense of urgency and attention to detail with ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills; advanced proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel
- Strong organizational skills, high sense of urgency, and an attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
- Professional / Masters / Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, business, or a related field required
- At least 7 years of professional accounting experience, worked in multinational companies is an added advantage
- Proficiency with business and accounting software Tally Prime and if worked on Net Suite is an added advantage
- Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and policies
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Prophix, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed

Overview
The Accounts Executive is responsible for performing general accounting duties such as preparing and maintaining of day to day accounting, inputting and allocating all revenue generated, and review of journal entries; knowledge to manage statutory compliance like GST & With holding taxes and corporate taxes, daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations, variance analyses; assistance with internal and statutory & tax Audits; Preparation of monthly MIS (Prophix Reporting) and other accounting duties.
