Using the S235JR Plate in your fabrication work can provide excellent durability and strength. It is available in thicknesses from six to 130 mm and widths of 6000 to 12000 mm.

This grade of structural steel has a yield strength of 235 MPa. The minimum force required to deform the steel alloy permanently is 235 N/mm2. However, the tensile strength is higher.

The tensile strength indicates the maximum load that does not break the metal. However, if the stress exceeds the yield strength, it will result in elastic deformation. Hence, S235JR steel is suitable for non-critical structures such as buildings, vehicle frames, and structural steel for offshore structures.
