He is known for his strong and powerful physique, which he uses to his advantage throughout the games he appears in.Donkey Kong is often portrayed as a misunderstood character who is not inherently villainous. In the original game, he kidnaps a damsel named Pauline and climbs to the top of a construction site, but he is eventually defeated by the player-controlled character, Jumpman (who would later be renamed Mario).
