I could barely take my eyes off the magnificent reclining Vishnu. Lord in repose. Tranquility prevails all over the surroundings the reclining Vishnu carved out of a twenty feet igneous rock besides an ancient pool creates a fairy tale picture. The large cobra with multi heads that crowns over the reclining figure portrays earthly connect that the tenets of Hinduism extol.
Bandhavgarh Fort will be a journey into ancient India. I do not know if you can visit the complex by taking special permission from the Field Director or related organisation. But if you do make a visit be happy. On date of birth Lord Ram, Lord Krishna and Kabir Jayanti tribals are allowed to pray at the temple. There may be permission for tourists as well.
