Packaging Services In An Attractive Way - The beBee Way

Packaging

way

Vibrant colors, great graphics, and delightful packaging make us happy. Product-sellers have this huge benefit of creating something perfectly tangible for their customers. Something which is right in front of them, sitting on the shelf of a supermarket or that of a high-end showroom. Though, it might seem that they have the advantage of providing something to the customers right in front of their eyes, in the form of stunning packaging; they are actually competing with many others in the same space who are trying to outdo their presentation styles with innovative packaging and marketing efforts.

But, how do we go about packaging in the service industry, especially the B2B one?

We all like looking at beautiful things, that catch our attention. The unique combination of colors and fonts that make us click on a CTA. The awesome posters and visual material that are shared on a particular website. These are the very factors, that nudge something in our brain's frontal lobe that makes us decide whether we want to go on with this service/website, or not.

As B2Bs in the service industry, we are constantly fighting for attention of our potential clients. Too many options, scattered all over the internet. There are sponsored ads, blog posts, picture content, and so much more that is being shared on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn at an astounding magnitude. It is overwhelming for both the service provider as well as the potential client.

Whenever, I produce content or copy for my clients or even for myself, I put myself in the shoes of the end customer, my target audience. I sketch out the buyer persona in my head and become that person. This helps me empathize with the end consumer and create a copy or a blog they will relate to.

A great copy on a social media platform, in the B2B space = A brightly-packaged product on a supermarket shelf, in the B2C space.

Once, I create a copy or a piece of content, I ask myself the following questions:

 • Would this copy make me click on the link?
 • Would it make me curious about the service provider and make me want to find out more?
 • Does the website look trustworthy?
 • Should I click on that CTA, it does seem to have blurred edges?
The more critical and detail-oriented you are, the better will be the end result.

Creating something that stands out, visually and functionally.

Thinking out-of-the-box is a necessity when you want to make your mark in an overcrowded space. I would like to take beBee for example. The thing that drew me to beBee, visually at first, was its orange logo, followed by the bee in the logo.

First of all, the color orange alludes to characteristics such as fun, enthusiasm, vitality, creativity, and optimism. It is eye-catching and it stands out among the wave of blue icons of most other social media platforms. It arouses curiosity, as it did mine. The bee was next.

Successful Personal Branding

The bee, is once more a great logo that differentiates beBee from other social media platforms who have safely taken to their initials as their logo. There is nothing wrong with having your initial as your logo, but the bee sitting cozily in its hive offers you a story. You now want to find out what does the bee have to say?

So now the bee is taking you to its mega-hive, the website. In the meantime, you have already followed it on Twitter and now you have a wealth of tweets about a world of topics and also ones talking about what beBee is, and how you can benefit from it. It is, in a way, engaging you continuously, with its packaging, now in the form of informed tweets.
Now that you are in the mega-hive, the landing page, you see the sign-up button against the nice honey pot background. Scrolling down, I felt good seeing the numerous articles and learnt more about the concept of hive. beBee was talking to me through spectacular visuals and content, neatly organized in rows and columns.

I signed up, immediately. beBee had caught my attention, made me curious about its offerings, brought me to its landing page and showed that there was so much more to learn and share.

Marketing is an extremely dynamic concept. Moving out of your comfort zone is a must if you want your brand to grow. Especially when you are a B2B, finding and capturing the interest of the target audience becomes a huge task. We always have some industry best practices to guide us through the journey, but with that, we need to add our own dash of innovation and person to each piece of content and communication.

I agree Yolanda Ávila Márquez! There is so much information around us that we often miss out on what really matters.. Gifted copywriters, however, somehow manage to grab eyeballs anyways with their fantastic CTAs. I really hope I get there, someday! :)

Kudos on more awesome blogging buzz, Proma. And kudos to Javier 🐝 beBee and their team for creating such a uniquely styled professional logo that stands out in a crowded social media space. This is obviously very distinct, which is helpful for branding and social marketing. Bravo to beBee!
