In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in connecting with potential clients over the phone, understanding their unique safety requirements, and effectively presenting our cutting-edge fire and safety solutions.


Responsibilities:

Supplier Identification: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for various safety products and equipment used in the maritime industry, considering factors such as quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.

Vendor Negotiation: Engage in negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, including competitive pricing, discounts, and favorable payment terms, while maintaining strong professional relationships.

Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely availability of materials.

Supplier Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers, conducting regular performance reviews, addressing issues promptly, and ensuring consistent supply.

Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new product developments, enabling informed sourcing decisions and innovative solutions.

Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and anticipate demand to ensure that products and materials are available when needed, while avoiding overstock situations.

Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that procured materials meet the required safety standards and specifications.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and contracts, to facilitate transparency and auditing.
