Position Overview:

We are seeking a Sales Representative for our company. Must have proven sales success in the ed tech industry & understand educators' challenges/opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Develop a strategic plan for sales success in assigned territory.
Identify potential business opportunities through thorough research and prospecting.
Build networks to qualify leads.
Present our educational platform features and benefits through demonstrations and presentations.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, such as marketing, customer success, and product development, to support sales initiatives and ensure customer satisfaction.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with prospective clients to close sales and secure new business opportunities.
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new sales opportunities and potential areas for growth.
Track and report on sales metrics, including pipeline activity, forecasts, and revenue projections.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field with an MBA.
25 years of successful sales experience, preferably in edtech.
Solid grasp of the education sector, including K12 and higher ed markets, and familiarity with trends, initiatives, and standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and effectively communicate the value proposition of our platform.
Ability to manage a sales pipeline, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
Selfmotivated and proactive, driven to achieve results and exceed sales targets.
