    Position Description |

    Title: DRF – Power BI Expert

    Reports To: GBS Digital Reporting Factory

    The Digital Reporting Factory (DRF) is in charge of providing digital reporting solution and reports for all the functions in the organization, for excellence and efficiency, for users in their day to day activities.

    It will be integrated in team and will be involved in projects ranging from Data Warehousing, Interfacing, Data Visualization/Analysis and Reporting.

    Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelors / master's in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
  • Certification from Center of Development of Advanced Computing in Diploma in Big Data Analytics (PG-DBDA)preferred.
  • At least 5-8 years' experience in development of Power BI
  • Experience in below areas would be an added advantage – Experience in Data visualization, Data cleaning, Exploratory data analysis (SAP BI, SAP Lumira, SAP Analytic Cloud, MicroStrategy, etc).Familiarity with scripting and programming languages (e.g., SQL, R, Python)SQL and NoSQL databases (Joins, Sub queries, Set Operations, Functions)App development - web application Front-ends and knowledge of Javascript frameworks (such as ReactJS, Angular JS) backed by cloud services, DevOps CI/CD technologies, IOT / Embedded / M2M Industry (i.e. home automation, factory automation, smart utilities, etc.)

    • Objective :

    Provide business intelligence services, spearhead BI software development, and surface Power BI reports. Convert raw data and create Interactive dashboards to provide actionable & meaningful business insights. Interact with Microsoft's Power BI to generate, operate, and maintain BI applications that serve to provide the company with actionable business insights.

  • Identify new projects and present their results to both technical and non-technical audience.
  • Entrepreneurship: Capacity and willingness to understand the needs of the end-user and develop accordingly the product, Understanding Business process and functional for developing function reports with Data structure
  • Autonomy: Capacity to search for required solutions, for example by asking the right questions to the right persons. This might also imply to explore new areas unknown to the team.
  • Accountability: Being responsible of its own development and product. Feeling a sense of ownership and proudness in the work done
  • Result Oriented: Being focused on the delivery of a product to the end-user.

    • Leveraging Data Strategically: Their role is crucial in today's data-driven business landscape, helping organizations leverage their data effectively and strategically.

    AI feature for Reporting:

    Text Analytics and Vision: Utilize Azure Cognitive Services for sentiment analysis, key phrase extraction, language detection, and image tagging1.

    Key Influencer and Decomposition Tree Visuals : Understand how to interpret these AI-driven visuals2.

    Quick Measures and Draft Dashboards: Create custom measures and dashboards using AI2.

    Automated Machine Learning: Build machine learning models directly within Power BI3.

    Technical Competencies

    Data Modeling and Analysis:Power BI developers design and develop data models that effectively support business requirements. They ensure the accuracy and reliability of data presented in dashboards and reports.

    Visualization:These experts create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI. Their work helps businesses understand trends, patterns, and insights in their data, enabling informed decision-making.

    Bridge Between Technical and Non-Technical Sides: Power BI developers collaborate with various stakeholders, bridging the gap between a business's technical and non-technical aspects.

    Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing data to extract meaningful insights.

    Data Visualization: Ability to create compelling visualizations using Power BI
