This role will operate within the Shared Services, People Function and be responsible for and support activity across all regions globally The role holder will therefore be required to work across multiple disciplines within the People team, building knowledge and capability to include Service Delivery, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, and Reward in order to provide effective support to projects and business as usual activities.

A role you will love


We are looking for motivated and talented individuals who will be accountable to support with complex requests and provide advice to, employees and managers globally in relation to all leave of absence processes, support change programmes and support with learning administration.

Working collaboratively with the Reward, Payroll and ER Centre of Excellence, and Employee Helpdesk teams to ensure an excellent employee experience.


Some additional responsibilities:


  • Experienced HR Administrator with strong literacy and numerical skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience within an Employee Relations or Learning context.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to demonstrate empathy towards others.
  • Strong business awareness and understanding
  • Global employment law or regulatory awareness
  • Ability to successfully communicate across all levels of the business and build working relationships.
  • Be able to work as part of a team, be selfmotivated to use your own initiative, whilst understanding limits of own authority.
  • Be able to make decisions/ investigate complex matters to support the resolution of employee queries
  • Coach and support more junior/ less experienced team members.
  • Coach and support line managers when dealing with complex/challenging circumstances e.g., redundancies/death or illness of team members.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Responsible for managing complex transactions during extended leave of absence, redundancy, and business change events.
  • Provide advice and guidance on policy and process at critical times in the employee lifecycle
  • Provide accurate data to Payroll for payment processing which meets legal requirements and manages employee expectations.
  • Identify any trends in processing, system, or automation errors
  • Responsible for ensuring risk, compliance and data privacy process controls are met, covering; audit, data access, compliance checking schedule for internal and thirdparty processes
  • Build relationships across People Experience Hub CoE and related teams; Payroll, ER, Business Partnering, to ensure effective processing and escalation management
  • Maintain a good level of communication with managers, employees around the status of their enquiry
  • Manage own allocation of work whilst being able to work flexibly to support across the Service Delivery team when required
  • Support with reviewing work processes to identify areas for improvement and progress actions to improve outcomes for employees and managers
