    Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President - Record to report

    In this role you are expected to possess good knowledge on Statutory Reporting, Regulatory filings as per US Laws, Period end close, GL and other R2R sub processes. In addition, you should have good knowledge of SAP (S4/HANA) and exposure on Hyperion, Oracle, and any stock/inventory management tools. Candidate should have excellent analytical skills, understanding of Accounting Principles and experience in managing mid-to-large-sized teams.

    Responsibilities

    ·Can manage various R2R, Statutory Reporting processes through Team Leads

    ·Legal Entity Reporting Preparation and Filing

    ·Ensuring Close calendar is maintained, communicated and timelines are followed

    ·Volume on R2R processes like JNLs, FA, Inter-co are managed within Month-end timelines

    ·Drive and timely closure of open/ un-cleared line items in bank/GL reconciliation

    ·Escalate to relevant teams on open line items and seek for information to clear

    ·Be as an escalation point for teams under R2R

    ·Review on ongoing/regular operations and close for various business units

    ·Review Operational risk compliance (SOX Controls) – Process Controls, risk assessments, report out and management

    ·Participate in ERP/bolt on tools migrations, UAT and signoff

    ·Responsible to coach and mentor team on timely basis

    ·Support and back fill his team members in time of need with short learning curve

    ·Understand and implement the Performance management framework- KPI and SLA reporting

    ·Coordinating with internal teams and external Clients, Auditors and Advisors

    ·Should have good SAP knowledge

    ·Statutory Reporting

    ·Working on Accounting Policy

    ·Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance and Support

    ·Work with Transition team and provide support to deliver the following, but not limited to:

    oEnsure timely hiring of right resources

    oEstablish relations with onshore Customer, Project team to understand the Project requirements

    oCommunicate, coordinate & initiate actions ensuring seamless & smooth function of the transition processes

    Qualifications we seek in you

    Minimum Qualifications

    ·Graduate from reputed University.

    ·Prior Experience in RTR domain

    ·Experience of leading a span of min of 200+

    ·Proven track record of driving technology led transformation programs for clients

    ·Process consulting experience, preferred over business / strategy consulting

    ·Proven client / partner management and project management skills.

    Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

    ·People Management – with span of 50 & above

    ·Strong accounting conceptual knowledge on reporting. US Reporting requirements knowledge is preferable.

    ·Proficiency with MS Excel and Power-point are essential.

    ·Working knowledge in ERP packages like SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft

    ·Strong analytical skills, proficiency in multi-tasking and should be able to resolve issues in operations

    ·Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to summarize and present complex financial data in an organized, concise manner, ability to present Performance management metrics and RCAs in monthly Governance Boards.

    ·Client Relations - Build the customer relationship, drive confidence, and improve customer satisfaction

    ·Self-motivated and very organized in his/her day-to-day operations, must be able to work independently and able to convene and lead all the process update calls with customers wherever required.

    ·Knowledge and sound management of underlying process, and can interact with coworkers, management, auditors, and regulators.

    ·High ability to learn and apply learnings in practice.

    ·Show strong sense of urgency in solving problems, getting work done

    ·Develop thorough understanding of customer expectations and strive to exceed them
