Role & Responsibilities

Lighting Control Programming:

Collaborate with lighting designers and technicians to understand artistic concepts and lighting design requirements.
Program and configure lighting control systems to create dynamic lighting effects, sequences, and cues.
Utilize lighting control software and hardware interfaces to set up and control lighting fixtures, dimmers, and colorchanging devices.
Write and modify lighting control protocols, such as DMX, sACN, or Art-Net, to communicate with lighting fixtures and consoles.
Ensure proper addressing, patching, and channel assignment for lighting fixtures in the control system.
Test and troubleshoot lighting control programming to ensure accurate and reliable operation.

Lighting Design Collaboration:

Collaborate with lighting designers to translate artistic concepts and cues into technical lighting control programming.
Attend design meetings and provide technical input on the feasibility and implementation of lighting control ideas.
Develop a deep understanding of lighting fixtures, their capabilities, and control parameters to achieve desired lighting effects.
Participate in lighting design rehearsals and programming sessions to refine and adjust lighting cues based on artistic feedback.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

Provide technical support to lighting technicians, electricians, and other team members during the installation, setup, and operation of lighting control systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to lighting control programming, connectivity, or fixture operation.
Collaborate with equipment manufacturers and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve software or hardware compatibility issues.
Stay updated with the latest advancements and software updates in lighting control systems and programming techniques.
Documentation and Training:
Create and maintain detailed documentation of lighting control programming, including cue sheets, channel assignments, and system configurations.
Prepare user manuals and training materials to guide lighting operators and technicians on the operation and maintenance of lighting control systems.
Conduct training sessions and workshops for lighting operators to enhance their understanding of lighting control programming.

Quality Control and Assurance:

Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of lighting control programming across multiple shows or events.
Collaborate with lighting technicians and operators to ensure proper execution of lighting cues during performances or events.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of lighting control systems and recommend improvements or upgrades when necessary.

Salary:
₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
