Salon Receptionist


Job Summary:

As a salon receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients visiting or contacting the salon.

You will provide exceptional customer service, handle inquiries, schedule appointments, and perform various administrative tasks to contribute to the efficient functioning of the salon.


Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome clients in a friendly and professional manner.

Answer telephone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide accurate information about salon services, pricing, and availability.

Schedule client appointments using the salon's booking system, ensuring optimal utilization of salon resources.

Maintain and update the salon's appointment calendar, ensuring accuracy and timely communication with clients.

Manage and organize client records, including personal information, service preferences, and payment details.

Process client payments, issue receipts, and maintain cash register or POS system.

Assist clients with retail product selection, provide product information, and process sales transactions.

Coordinate with salon stylists, therapists, and other staff to ensure smooth scheduling and timely service delivery.

Monitor and manage waiting areas to ensure cleanliness and a comfortable atmosphere for clients.

Provide general administrative support, such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.

Handle and resolve client complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Stay updated on salon services, promotions, and special offers to effectively communicate them to clients.

Collaborate with the salon team to maintain a positive and cohesive work environment.


Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in customer service or salon management is a plus.

Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and salon staff.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for appointment scheduling, record keeping, and administrative tasks.

Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of client inquiries and appointment requests.

Professional appearance and demeanor with a friendly and welcoming attitude.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required


Salary:
From ₹8,086.00 per month
