Local Unit & Position Description:

DNV is in the middle of an exciting digital transformation, as are the industries we operate in. Our Finance Application team is our key unit to further support our finance eco system based on Oracle eBusiness Suite, which also consists of a number of other closely integrated tools. A wellfunctioning and uptodate finance system supporting our key processes endtoend is a key engine to support our organizations commercial and financial commitments and assists to drive the transformation of the company. Our Oracle solution is integrated into many of our production systems and enables us as a company to have "one source of truth" for our financial data._
Service requests originate either from customer request, regular maintenance routines e.g. cost rates entry and adhoc tasks placed by other organizations within and outside of Finance Applications Unit e.g. new implementations._

In your role you will:

Responsible for having a good overview of the ecosystem related to the Finance area.
Support and improve internal processes of customer requests execution according to best practice
Ensure that service requests are accepted, properly classified and handled as per agreed process
Perform tasks based on documentation like knowledge base articles
Identify opportunities to improve the quality and productivity of processes / services
Embed customer centricity in the service delivered
Develop own knowledge, skills and experience and share with the team members

Position Qualifications:

To maximize your chances, you need:

Bachelor's degree required, preferable in Finance/Accounting or Computer Science or equivalent
Customer focused and solution oriented
Proven track record of meeting timelines and deliverables to a high quality
Ability to identify, resolve, mitigate and escalate issues as they occur
Ability to plan & organize own daily tasks
Fluent in written and spoken English
Proven track record of having an eye for detail
Knowledge of technical languages and tools e.g. SQL Developer (nice to have)
