Technical Support OfficerResponsibilities:
Troubleshoot and Resolve Technical Issues:
Identify and implement hardware and software solutions to resolve customer issues promptly.
Document and track customer issues and resolutions in a ticketing system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
Technical Problem-Solving:
Diagnose and repair hardware and software faults, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of systems.
Resolve network issues and assist in network configuration and troubleshooting.
Demonstrate expertise in complex technical problem-solving by handling Level 3 queries effectively.
Customer Communication:
Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner, answering their queries and guiding them through technical issues.
Provide timely and accurate feedback to customers regarding their technical inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Follow up with clients to ensure that their technical problems are resolved satisfactorily and maintain positive customer relationships.
Implementation Support:
Collaborate with the team to test and evaluate new technologies, staying updated with industry advancements and recommending improvements.
Documentation and Procedural Support:
Create and maintain procedural documentation to support customer inquiries and issues, ensuring comprehensive and up-to-date resources.
Effectively manage multiple cases concurrently, prioritizing and addressing each one promptly.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.
Certification in Microsoft, Linux, or Cisco is advantageous.
Prior experience in tech support, desktop support, or a similar role.
Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and Mac OS.
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
