Sourcing and Planning:


  • Support in smooth and timely ordering across country
  • Supporting Business/Network team in FTTX (Broadband), IP1 and Intra city fiber Roll out
  • Analyzing and calculating costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease Capex & Opex spend.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders and suppliers and deliver those plans using appropriate sourcing strategy and key negotiation levers.
  • Contracting negotiations with partners to arrive at right terms and conditions.
  • Benchmark activity rates with the best in Industry.
  • Value of Annual Buying to the tune of Rs 500 + Cr.
  • Drive payment terms extension projects across category.

_Efficient plans for Standardization and adherence to


AOP :
_

  • Issuance of Cost guidelines for all Business units in the above areas. The position shall be responsible for these costs.

_Conduct cost benchmarking - Rationalization to get economies of scale : _

  • Ensure vendor base is right sized for maximum volume/cost savings leverage across all Business Units.
  • Manage Vendor capacity and capability to meet the Scale and Business requirements.
  • Ensure Vendor base can meet the rampup/Surge requirement.
  • Engage in costs and quality benchmarking through informal market research, quality and cost interrelationships/ cost benefit analysis.
  • Develop cost benchmarks by checking rates given to other clients and competitors by vendors while incorporating innovative improvement initiatives.
  • Optimization of commercial, design & Process levers that minimize the total cost of ownership.
  • Develop processes for half yearly / annual release of rate references for all major items.

_Design programs to achieve targeted cost savings : _

  • Collect enduser feedback to improve sourcing issues closure & procurement TAT's.
  • Streamline purchase processes to optimize costs.
  • Ensure compete compliance to implemented processes.

Other Operation

  • Partner Governance
  • VPOT ( Vendor Payment On Time ) management
  • Provisioning and supporting finance on monthly basis for products with price variance, Partner GST etc.
  • Audit compliance and supporting all internal and external audits

_Effective contract management ( adherence to scope/ SLA's and KPI's of the contracts ): _

  • Design, implement contract management processes.
  • Ensure review of compliances and corrective action on variances
  • Initiate corrective actions and improvement plans.

_Management of Vendor expectations :
_

  • Improve Vendor Satisfaction both at the Strategic Partner and Class B Level Contracts.
  • Assess vendor performance and rate vendors on metrics of cost, quality, and service parameters.
  • Build healthy relationships with regular vendors in order to negotiate better costs /qualities
