Roles & Responsibilities:

Assisting with Engineering Projects:
DETs are often involved in assisting senior engineers with the execution of engineering projects. This can include tasks such as conducting research, drafting technical drawings, and performing calculations to support project development.

Hands-on Experience: DETs are usually involved in gaining practical, hands-on experience in their area of specialization. This could involve working with machinery, performing tests, and conducting experiments under the guidance of senior engineers.

Learning and Development:
DETs are expected to demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop their skills. They should actively seek out opportunities to expand their knowledge of engineering principles, industry standards, and emerging technologies.

Problem-solving: DETs are often involved in problem-solving activities, including identifying and resolving technical issues that arise during the course of a project. They should be able to work collaboratively with their team members to find effective solutions.

Documentation and Reporting:
DETs are responsible for maintaining accurate project documentation and preparing reports on their findings and observations. This can include updating technical drawings, recording test results, and documenting project progress.
