    s and Responsibilities
  • Analyse and assess complex contracts to identify pertinent financial terms, schedules, and criteria for revenue recognition.
  • Collaborate closely with the Project team to ensure adherence to contractual terms and accounting standards in revenue recognition processes.
  • Prepare and maintain various schedules, including deferred revenue and rollforward schedules.
  • Establish and maintain business assets to facilitate deferred revenue accounting.
  • Conduct quarterly and year-to-date analysis of business assets movements.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of revenue and conduct variance analysis to ensure the accuracy and comprehensiveness of financial data.
  • Liaise with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits to furnish support for revenue recognition policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of internal controls and processes aimed at enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of revenue accounting operations.
  • Adhere to SOX controls stipulated by the SOX team.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and support for special projects as required.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Resolve ad-hoc queries from onsite counterparts.

    • Requirements

  • Relevant Experience: Minimum of 8 years in Revenue Accounting, General Ledger, Fixed Asset Accounting.
  • Education: Postgraduate degree in Commerce (preferred) or qualified/semi-qualified ACA/ACCA/CMA/CIMA or MBA (Finance).
  • Experience in interpreting complex contracts and discerning key financial terms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Workday).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
