Responsibilities & Duties:
As a Dynamics 365 Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the overall architecture of Dynamics 365 solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture Design:
- Lead the design and development of comprehensive Dynamics 365 solution architectures that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Define architectural principles, standards, and best practices to guide the implementation of Dynamics 365 solutions across projects.
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to functional consultants, developers, and other team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment between functional requirements, technical solutions, and architectural standards.
- Expert technologist across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and related Azure capabilities, keeping abreast of advances and roadmaps in the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Platform Evaluation and Selection:
- Evaluate the suitability of Dynamics 365 and related technologies for addressing specific business needs and requirements.
- Assess thirdparty solutions, integrations, and extensions to complement Dynamics 365 implementations and enhance overall system capabilities.
- Governance and Compliance:
- Define and enforce governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Establish mechanisms for monitoring and managing the performance, scalability, and security of Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in Dynamics 365 and related fields.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise existing processes, enhance system performance, and streamline implementation efforts.
- Drive an automation mindset across the teams for building, testing, deployments, integrations.
Knowledge, Skill, ability
- Proven experience (5+ years) working as a Dynamics 365 Architect or similar role, with a track record of successful solution implementations.
- Expertise in designing complex Dynamics 365 architectures, including experience with solution design, data modelling, integration patterns, and scalability considerations.
- Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 capabilities, modules, and functionalities across Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Finance, and other domains
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in evaluating and selecting thirdparty solutions, extensions, and integrations to complement Dynamics 365 implementations.
- Experience with cloud technologies, security frameworks, and compliance standards relevant to Dynamics 365 implementations.
- Certification in Dynamics 365 (e.g., MB700, PL600, etc.) is preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) working as a Dynamics 365 Architect or similar role, with a track record of successful solution implementations.
