Responsibilities:

Teach design courses offered by the Department of Visual Media and Communication.

Utilize expertise in design principles and techniques to deliver effective instruction.

Demonstrate proficiency in various multimedia tools relevant to design education.

Communicate effectively with students and colleagues.

Foster an engaging learning environment conducive to creative exploration.

Develop and deliver curriculum aligned with academic standards.

Mentor and guide students in design projects and assignments.

Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate them into teaching practices.

Collaborate with departmental colleagues on curriculum development and assessment.

Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their design skills.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Design (M.Des) or Ph.
D. in a related field.

Strong understanding of design principles and techniques.

Proficiency in multimedia tools used in design (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, etc.).

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Experience in communication design preferred (e.g., graphic design, web design, multimedia design, UI/UX design).

Prior teaching experience, especially at the undergraduate level, is desirable.

Creative mindset with a passion for design education.

Ability to mentor and inspire students in their design journey.
