About the role:


Sales Strategy and Planning:


  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets in the GHG management sector.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.

Client Engagement:


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and develop new relationships with potential customers.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their sustainability goals and challenges related to greenhouse gas emissions.

Technical Expertise:


  • Possess a deep understanding of greenhouse gas measurement, reporting, and verification methodologies.
  • Provide technical expertise to clients, guiding them in adopting and implementing effective GHG management solutions.

Product Knowledge:


  • Stay informed about the company's GHG management products and services.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of the company's offerings to clients.

Proposal Development:


  • Prepare and present proposals tailored to the specific needs of clients, outlining the benefits of the company's GHG solutions.
  • Work closely with the technical team to ensure accurate and realistic proposals.

Sales Negotiation and Closing:


  • Conduct negotiations with clients, addressing concerns, and ensuring a mutually beneficial agreement.
  • Successfully close sales deals and achieve sales targets.

Collaboration:


  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to enhance the overall customer experience.

Reporting and Analysis:


  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to the management team, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

About you:


  • Bachelor's degree in business, environmental science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in sales, with a focus on environmental solutions or sustainability.
  • Proficiency in greenhouse gas accounting, emissions reduction tactics, carbon offset markets, and familiarity with CBAM highly valued.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to translate technical information into a compelling sales pitch.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Resultsoriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
