Description
A restaurant captain typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which includes:- Monitoring employee attendance and resolving scheduling conflicts
- Ensuring that food safety standards are followed during preparation, cooking, and storage of food items
- Managing the overall operations of a restaurant location, including supervising employees and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Conducting weekly staff meetings to discuss upcoming events, specials, and other pertinent topics
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies for the restaurant chain to increase awareness and drive customer traffic
- Managing the frontofhouse staff by setting work schedules, training new employees, addressing customer complaints, and resolving conflicts between employees
Salary:
