Client consultation - VLC should be capable of talking to clients, satisfying their issues in business, and accordingly suggesting a legal solution for the same.

It could be related to processes (e.g., intellectual property, mergers & acquisitions, financial/ securities offerings, compliance issues, transactions, agreements, lawsuits, and patents)

Drafting of Contracts - Drafting as well as negotiating contractual agreements for clients shall be required. VLC should be able to suggest and accordingly draft the agreement for the clients.
Contract Vetting - VLC should be well-trained in reviewing documents to determine their specific legalities and meanings. These documents can include employee contracts, proposals, and other legal documents such as bylaws and non-disclosure agreements.
Template Drafting - VLC should be able to draft templates for the company.
Quality control - VLC if delegating tasks further to the Executive Associate (EA) should be reviewing the document prepared by the EA and suggest legal and language changes to maintain the quality of work, before being delivered to the clients. If required should be able to guide EAs and ensure the quality of the task assigned.
Work Delegation - VLC should be able to delegate work properly and in time to EAs and be the interface between the clients and the EA team from brief to amendments/ completing the task.
Trademark and copyright Filling - VLC should have good knowledge of handling the entire process of trademark and copyright, to be followed before registry.
