Job Title:
US Audit

Responsibilities:

Assist the audit team in preparing audit documentation, including workpapers, financial statements, and other relevant reports using software such as CaseWare Working Papers, ACL GRC, and others.
Perform substantive testing of financial data using tools like IDEA Data Analysis to verify accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Assist in the review of internal controls and processes, utilizing software such as Thomson Reuters Checkpoint Engage and TeamMate+ Audit, to identify potential weaknesses or gaps.
Collaborate with auditors to gather necessary information and documentation from clients, utilizing software like Wolters Kluwer CCH Axcess Engagement and EZIAuditor.
Conduct research using software such as AuditFile and Pentana Audit to stay updated on relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Help organize and manage audit schedules, leveraging software like ProSystem fx Engagement, to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Participate in meetings with clients to discuss audit findings, recommendations, and best practices.
Support the preparation of audit reports, including clear and concise explanations of findings using software tools like ACL GRC and Pentana Audit.
Assist in maintaining audit files and records using software such as CaseWare Working Papers and Thomson Reuters Checkpoint Engage in compliance with established procedures.
Provide administrative support to the audit team as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and auditing standards.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Prior experience in auditing or accounting is a plus.
Familiarity with audit software or tools is advantageous.
