Role
Consultant role would involve monitoring day to day operations of Balances Middle Office (BMO) team. This team works on operational Intraday Cash liquidity functionality for Treasury, Risk and Compliance, Finance and other Enterprise Operations groups; as well as provides reporting on Liquidity issues


Knowledge & Skills

  • Must have extremely good product knowledge in the Cash and liquidity domain
  • Understands Cash and Liquidity management business. Including reporting for operational Intraday Cash liquidity
  • Excellent attention to detail, and should be capable of performing different subprocess as well as their 4 eye review
  • Ability to assign tasks and monitor service delivery by the team
  • Ability to multitask and work constructively under time pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
  • Adaptability to change and lead the team through the change
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for liaising with related departments and interfacing teams
  • Provide quality and timely consulting support and inquiry responses to assist in problem resolution of technical internal and external client reporting issues
  • Actively participate in technical projects, initiatives, and working groups, as appropriate.
  • Provide accurate, useful information and opinions on functions, processes, and procedures for business matters and regulations, data flow, and quality assurance

Principal Responsibilities
The principal responsibilities of the Consultant may include, but may not be limited to, the following;


BUSINESS:


  • Take responsibility of daily functions / operations of the BMO team including timely and accurate completion of deliverables
  • Actively participate during new releases, Priority client onboarding and business changes while working closely with the Manager & Team
  • Liaise with interfacing teams for operational issues
  • Certifies the accuracy of the signoff or tasks that get performed on a daily basis
  • Organizes the work of the team, assigns tasks, sets shortterm priorities, monitors all activities and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work
  • Review the work performed by Analysts and Senior Analysts in coordination with Technical Coordinator
  • Reviews various documents with utmost accuracy and with a control perspective in mind
  • Periodically reviews the procedure documents
  • Frequently comes up with process enhancements / control measures and suggestions of improving the existing process flows
  • Possesses very good organizational skills required to prioritize assignments
  • Ability to act as a process expert, own and resolve complex queries and issues
  • Proactively communicate the procedure updates to the team.

EDUCATION & Experience:


  • Graduate/Postgraduate
  • Finance/ Commerce/ Accounting/ Management
  • 5 to 10 years relevant work experience preferred.
