This position is for Danaher's PID Digital team located at Danaher India Development Center (IDC), Bangalore

IDC is a research and development center with the vision of accelerating product roadmaps across various Danaher business segments. Started in 2014, the center now hosts 60+ associates for multiple Danaher operating companies.

The operating companies includes PID Digital, Videojet, Beckman Coulter, Radiometer, Leica Biosystems, LS Digital, Hach, Leica Microsystems, IDBS, SCIEX, HemoCue, SCIEX, IDBS, Cytiva and Cepheid.


The IDC workforce comprises of various product engineering teams, working on development of software and hardware components of ground breaking products.

IDC has evolved as center of excellence for Cloud and data analytics, with significant contributions to the key informatics solutions.

The teams consist of hardworking software & hardware engineers and development managers. The teams are supported by local Product managers, Quality & Regulatory and Intellectual property specialists.


The inhouse teams works in close coordination with global R&D centers at US, France, Germany, Japan, Australia, Denmark and Sweden.

Located at the center of Bangalore IT HUB, IDC is housed at state of art facility, measuring 120K sqft.

The role

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, maintain, and evangelize the product roadmap which defines product enhancements for shortterm and longterm releases.
  • Have an understanding of product APIs and product usage details, and the ability to execute and test via APIs using tools like Postman.
  • Review and ensure scope is agreed to and understood by our technical teams, and drive requirements through to production release, and ensure smooth postrelease adoption across operating companies.
  • Be the specialist and goto person for your products throughout the organization. Proactively educate others, solicit, and share feedback, and actively plan for the future incorporating any lessons learned.
  • Work with R&D and QA to provide oversight of R&D documentation output used to generate QA test coverage, and validation of test results.
  • Manage and maintain product API and customerfacing documentation

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
  • 35 years of shown product management and agile software development experience in a product management role responsible for defining and shipping actual products.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, translate to customer and business implications, handle tradeoffs and facilitate decisionmaking.
  • Since this position requires frequent interaction with crossfunctional teams and senior product management leadership, excellent communication, presentation, project management and problemsolving skills are critical.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in negotiating and generating alignment of requirements across major stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand, recognize, and work within a multicultural and international business environment.

  • Ability to travel 20% nationally and internationally
  • United States and Western Europe.
