Description
The Communications Associate job prepares and edits organizational communications for a variety of internal and external communications materials and media.
Working under general supervision, this job is responsible for ensuring that the organization's employees have access to business information and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities and Duties- Edits and reviews publications for one or more communication mediums.
- Conducts interviews and collects information from various sources to prepare into written format.
- Reviews special articles and submits final drafts and layouts to media production for review.
- Participates in communications publication production and distribution activities with internal and/or external print and/or design vendors.
- Provides recommendations to management on messaging and communications formats to maintain clarity and accuracy of message.
- University (Degree) Preferred
- 2+ Years Required; 3+ Years Preferred

Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Pull and analyze metrics across all digital channels and summarize key findings and areas for improvement (e.g., associate engagement, Q&A, etc)
- Develop strong crossfunctional relationships with IT, HR, Associate Communications and other shared services to meet channel development goals.
- Partner with IT and HR to build turnkey metrics capabilities for the Nuveen Executive Leadership Team.
- Drive operational excellence by building repeatable and/or automated processes that simplify how we operate.
- Proven communication skills (particularly written and verbal)
- Expert knowledge of SharePoint intranet platform
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform including Power Automate, Power Apps and Power BI
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Powerpoint
- Proficiency with Qualtrics survey program
- Experience in financial services industry preferred.
