Position Description:

Member required minimum 4+ years working experience on Service Virtualization (SV) tool using ParaSoft SOA Tool.
Must have hands on experience in developing and configuring virtual services using at least one of the tools (Parasoft, Service V)
Hands on experience with installation and configuration with one or more of the SV tools like ReadyAPI Service V, Parasoft and other vendor tools
Experience in testing SOAPbased Web Services, REST API and also hands on experience with one or more test tools like ReadyAPI's Soap UI, ParaSoft SOA or any other API testing tool

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Should be able to analyze logs to check calling patterns and identify request/responses
Work closely with the QE Lead/Manager to understand the test virtualization requirements
Work closely with the development teams to work on issues identified during virtualization
Provide inputs to existing process, techniques, tools, test methodologies, design, approach, and strategy for continuous improvement in the SV
Experience in testing SOAPbased Web Services, REST API and also hands on experience with with one or more test tools like ReadyAPI's Soap UI, ParaSoft SOA or any other API testing tool
Work with Lead/Manager in the assessment of new SV test tools to determine fit in the environment as well as drive adoption of SV testing tool(s) and methodologies across the enterprise
Assist with training/coaching to the broader community on SV testing tools and standards.
Provide input to write, revise, verify, and enforce SV testing standards across the community

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

6+ years' experience in testing and engineering with at least 4+ years working on Service Virtualization (SV) initiatives with in the Quality Engineering (QE) area
Must have hands on experience in developing and configuring virtual services using at least one of the tools (Parasoft, Service V)
Hands on experience with installation and configuration with one or more of the SV tools like ReadyAPI Service V, Parasoft and other vendor tools
Handson ability to plan, script, and execute SV based tests based on requirements
Handson ability to interpret and analyze SV test results
Must be able to understand backend call request and responses to identify scenarios for virtualization
Must have good analysis skills to troubleshoot issues identified during service virtualization
Must have worked with integrating SV tools with other testing tools to enable metrics capture within a test case management tool (qTest/ALM)
