Description

Responsible for installations and configuration Oracle Database 11gR2/12C/19c on Linux/Unix platform in standalone and RAC environment.

Excellent Knowledge and experience in Oracle Performance Tuning, DB upgrade, Migration, DB cloning, Data guard administration, AVDF.
Strong Knowledge of database architecture and transaction management.
Strong knowledge of Transparent Database Encryption, Key store, Wallet, HSM and AES Algorithm
Good Knowledge and experience in Backup and Recovery including RMAN, Data pump, export/import and other tools.
Start up and shutdown of both standalone and RAC data database instances and services.
Experience in Cluster ware (GRID Infrastructure)
CRS management and configuration Skilled in Oracle ASM and Data guard administration.
User / Schema Creation, User Management, granting Roles and Privileges & Access controls and creating profile on database to user.
Finding of ORA-Error in the alert log file, Archive all alert logs to history
Review contention for CPU, memory, network, and disk resources, generating statistics.
Strong Knowledge on AWR, ADDM, ASH reports, explain plan monitoring, analysis and troubleshooting.
Good understanding of Exadata Architecture, Flash Cache, Storage index, Patch Management.
Good understanding of Unix\Linux platform Shell Scripting and automation technologies.
Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards.
Experience working with offshore vendors builds positive working relationships, works collaboratively with other team members, and is a team player.

Knowledge of MSSQL, Mysql & Postgress will be an additional advantage
