Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Garment Merchandiser to join our team.

The Garment Merchandiser will play a pivotal role in coordinating and overseeing the production of our garments from concept to delivery.

This position requires a deep understanding of the fashion industry, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Key Responsibilities:


Product Development:
Collaborate with designers and product development teams to transform design concepts into finished garments. Ensure that product specifications, including materials, colors, and sizes, are accurately communicated to suppliers.


Supplier Management:
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms and pricing, and establish strong relationships with key partners. Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and timely delivery.


Order Management:
Create and manage production orders, including tracking and monitoring production progress, inventory levels, and delivery schedules. Take proactive steps to resolve any production delays or quality issues.


Cost Analysis:
Conduct cost analysis and price negotiations to optimize production costs while maintaining product quality and profitability.


Quality Control:
Implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards throughout the production process. Inspect and approve samples and finished products to ensure they meet quality and design standards.


Market Research:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities. Provide insights and recommendations to support product development and marketing strategies.


Forecasting:
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop sales forecasts and ensure that production aligns with demand.


Communication:
Maintain open and clear communication with cross-functional teams, including designers, production teams, sales, and marketing. Provide regular updates on production status and address any issues promptly.


Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a Garment Merchandiser or in a similar role within the fashion industry.
  • Strong knowledge of garment production processes, materials, and quality standards.
  • Excellent negotiation, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and garment management software
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
