Sr. SQL Server Administrator

Background:

He/she will be responsible for 10+ years of SQL Servers experiences which include SQL 2016,2019 in on prem environment and also will be responsible for Azure SQL Server, SQL connection,SQL managed instances ,SQL DB.

Duties and responsibilities to include the following:

Skills and Qualifications

10+ years MS SQL Server Administration experience required
Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
Experience working with Windows server administration
Install and maintain the performance of SQL database servers
Develop processes for optimizing database security
Manage database access
Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors
Work with development staff to ensure that database deployments, access and security compliance measures are consistently met and with government guidelines and requirements
Experiences with SQL DB migration, upgrade sql server
Will work with system administrators, program managers, information security officers, and other teams to create or update system policies and documentation
Extensive experiences of MS SQL 2016 and 2019 and Azure SQL and managed instances
Experience with SQL Server Integration Services development, import, and export tools a plus.
Experience with SQL Server Integration
Must have solid experiences TSQL and ANSI 92 SQL
Must know how to create and tune views, stored procedures, etc.
