Position Title:

Designation:
Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager


Function /Department:

Base Location (City): Mumbai


Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and submit recruiting planning.
  • Establish recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives.
  • Meeting with managers/department heads to discuss hiring needs.
  • Prepare and submit the hiring budget to HR Head.
  • Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and qualifications.
  • Attract applicants by placing job advertisements, recruiting consultants, using newsgroups and job sites.
  • Post positions to appropriate internet sources.
  • Research new ways of using the internet for recruitment.
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules, blocking calendar, sending video links (as required). Rescheduling + communicating to stakeholders as and when required.
  • Fill open positions efficiently and effectively within the agreed timelines in line with the budget (manage and save budgeting cost through wordofmouth, referrals, walkins).
  • Update the required trackers and orientation (Training) Plan.
  • Create a database of recruitment consultants. Manage the use of recruiters and headhunters appropriately.
  • Create contacts within the HR/recruitment industry.
  • Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the HR System
  • Online/Offline.
  • Create process to perform reference and background checks for potential employees.
  • Prepare SOP/guidelines on recruitment process.
  • Ensure 'Manpower requisition form' is updated on a regular basis, filled and approved by the approving authority before filling a position.
  • Ensure, 'Interview feedback form' is updated, filled and signed by the interviewing manager in the correct format.
  • Position Job description is attached and provided for all the interviewing positions. If not available, to be created in coordination with the hiring manager/department head.
  • Ensure employment agreements are updated on a regular basis in coordination with the Compliance, Administration department and HR Head.
  • Coordinate with HR operations and provide necessary support as and when required from timeto time (medical documents in place, handover new hire documents training and staff events etc.).
  • Prepare and submit monthly MIS to respective stakeholders.

QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor's degree (prefer certification/degree in human resources or a related field).


Advanced Qualification / Certification / Specialist Training: Hiring Analytics, Strong excel skills,


EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Experience 5-6 years' work experience post, graduation.


Specific / Relevant Experience:
Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience is preferred COMPETECIES


Functional Skills and Capabilities:


  • Must be organized and detail oriented.
  • Must possess excellent excel, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer and internet proficiency a must.
  • Must be able to work well independently and also work as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of hiring laws is vital
