**Financial Acccountant

  • General Ledger**
    JOB PURPOSE:
  • To provide financial accounting support to Country Finance & Service Centre
  • To record, maintain, verify and execute transactions with a medium level of complexity according to process documentation

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Facilitate Financial Books close for the said accounting period, compliant with accounting standards & control framework
  • Prepare Balance sheet reconciliations and ensure closure of open items based on analyzing financial records and coordinating with Country Finance
  • Collaborate with Subledger teams to resolve any accounting queries
  • Ensure Cash flow template is prepared as per schedule
  • Adherence to CCPs
  • Provide support during external and internal audits
  • Strive & Contribute towards process improvement
  • Participate in org level activities
  • Knowledge of MS Office, SAP and Tcodes will be an added advantage

WHO YOU ARE:


  • Graduate with specialization in finance
  • 24 years in accounting process
  • Ability to use the relevant IT systems (e.g., SAP)
  • Computer literacy, ability to use the office suite
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Accounting (Journal entries, Reconciliations, etc.)
