Responsibilities:


  • Inventory Management: Develop and implement inventory strategies for major accounts, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs and stockouts. Monitor inventory levels, identify potential risks or opportunities, and take proactive measures to address any deviations from targets. Ensure accuracy and optimize safety stock levels based on customer demand patterns, lead times, and service level agreements. Continuously monitor inventory levels to identify potential stockouts or excess inventory situations.
  • Demand Forecasting: Analyze historical data, market trends, and customer requirements to accurately forecast demand for the parts.
  • Sales Support: Assist sales teams with the parts investment, SLA opportunities, and other relevant information to bid for a new contract.
  • Relationship Management: Collaborate closely with customer account managers, field inventory planners, logistics and warehousing teams, and field services to establish effective working relationships and align inventory strategies. Build and maintain strong relationships with major accounts representatives, serving as the primary point of contact for their inquiries, concerns, and requests.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer issues, complaints, or escalations, working closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure prompt and satisfactory resolutions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor inventory levels, customer demand, and supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on inventory performance, track and analyze customerrelated data, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for major accounts, providing insights and recommendations to various stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree (preferably in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field is typically required). A master's degree may be preferred in some cases.
  • Experience: Previous experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, or supply chain management is highly desirable, particularly in a major accounts or key customerfocused environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimize inventory levels and meet customer requirements.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, major account representatives, and external partners.
  • Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is crucial to ensure precise inventory management and order processing.
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in inventory management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and Microsoft tools or other data analysis tools.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing customer demands and market conditions.
