Vendor Portfolio Associate


The Vendor Portfolio Associate performs the day-to-day activities related to the organization's vendor program office process and operations to monitor vendor risk and program compliance for assigned area.

Under general supervision, this job guides business partners in completing program activities across the vendor portfolio and provides performance oversight for all vendor lifecycle phases to ensure program compliance.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Supports the standardization of the vendor management framework and promotes a culture of vendor risk management within the first line business units.
  • Troubleshoot issues and escalate as needed.
  • Troubleshoots vendor risk and program compliance issues and escalates as needed.
  • Executes the daytoday implementation of processes and manages the identification, measurement, and monitoring of vendors.
  • Contributes to vendor management procedures and policy development.
  • Oversees daytoday enterprise vendor portfolio lifecycle activities for risk assessment, due diligence, monitoring, issues management, and termination.
  • Provides analysis and support for effective vendor risk mitigation.
  • Contributes to the identification of emerging risks and trends that could impact vendor management programs.
  • Identifies areas for ongoing process improvement.
  • Ensures quality of data input into the vendor management systems.
Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred
Work Experience

  • 2+ Years Required; 3+ Years Preferred
