Our Client is a leading hospitality company in Oceania Region with 40+ years of association with global hotel brands including IHG, Accor & Hilton.
Their investment & expertise range from Construction, Ownership & Management of diverse hospitality assets such as Hotels, Event Centres, Serviced & Residential Apartments.
About the Role
The primary responsibility of the Event Sales Executive will be to capture and manage all sales-related opportunities and interactions in our CRM software Delphi (Sales & Catering Event Software)
You will work closely with the sales team, gathering relevant information, updating records, and maintaining data integrity within the CRM system.
Your exceptional attention to detail and ability to effectively document sales activities & retrieve the relevant information quickly will play a vital role in our sales success and customer relationship management.
KRAs
Sales Support
- Capture and document all event and catering salesrelated opportunities, leads, and interactions in the CRM system.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry of customer details, event specifications, and sales progress updates.
- Track and monitor the status of event and catering sales opportunities from initial inquiry to final closure.
- Collaborate with the sales team to gather necessary information such as event requirements, budgets, and client preferences.
- Flag any essential but missing information for the opportunities.
- Prepare and distribute sales proposals, contracts, and other relevant documents to clients as required.
- Provide basic MIS on the Sales funnel.
- Support the sales team in administrative tasks, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organizing sales materials.
- Draft, maintain and update contracts.
Required:
- Proven experience in sales support, preferably in the Hotels, events or catering industry.
- Proficiency in using Delphi or other CRM software and other sales tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and internal teams.
- High level of professionalism and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Willingness to work in the night shift.
Preferable/Beneficial:
- Expert knowledge of Delphi or similar CRM/Salesforce software.
- Exposure to PMS (Property Management System) such as Opera, OnQ, RMS, Amadeus, IDS, WinHMS, Skytouch etc.
- Hotel Management Graduates open to learn & support back office and business development activities.
