Finance Executive for Startup - Manufacturing, Service & Trading

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

Manage the entire financial accounting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements (profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow).

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Implement and maintain strong internal controls and accounting practices.

Financial Planning & Analysis:
Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support budgeting, fundraising, and strategic decision-making.

Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Prepare and present financial information to the management team and investors.

Cash Flow Management:
Oversee the company's cash flow forecast and implement strategies to optimize cash flow.

Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.

Secure financing as needed, working with investors and financial institutions.

Budgeting & Cost Control:
Develop and implement annual operating budgets aligned with company goals.

Monitor actual performance against budget and identify areas for cost savings.

Collaborate with other departments to optimize resource allocation.

Financial Operations:
Manage payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and other financial processes.

Oversee relationships with banks, insurance companies, and other financial institutions.

Implement and maintain financial management systems and tools.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in a finance role, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Passion for startups and a willingness to roll up your sleeves.

Bonus Points:
Experience in manufacturing, service, or trading industries.

Experience with fundraising and investor relations.

Strong knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting techniques.

Proficiency in ERP systems.
