We are looking to hire creative educators with high levels of energy, willing to work with a community of 20-30 adolescents (aged 12-18 years) residential in a farm.


Location :
Murukam, near Pondicherry, India


Role:
Residential Teacher/House Parent

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Participating in the life of the Adolescents as an adult role model in the community, supporting moral and social development
  • Morning routine 5.30 am to 10 am
  • Responsibility for student engagement through initiatives introduced (sports, music, arts, crafts) 3.30 pm to 5 pm
  • Inspiring and motivating the adolescents through sidebyside participation in all community activities. 5pm to 9pm (bed time)
  • Supporting students in independent studies 6 pm to 7 pm
  • Minimal usage of mobile phones while in the community
  • Responsibility for student welfare during night

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Age: Less than 40 years and based on fitness higher ages can be considered
  • Bachelors in any/more of the following disciplines


  • Language(s)

  • English, Tamil, Hindi, French


  • Arts

  • Creative Art, Theatres, etc


  • Sciences

  • Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Astronomy, Economy, Environment, etc
  • Ability to drive advantageous
