Job Title:
Production Supervisor (ITI Fitter & Electrician)

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate production activities, including assembly, machining, and testing, to meet production targets and deadlines.
Train, mentor, and motivate production team members, including ITI Fitters and Electricians, to ensure efficient operation and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Monitor production processes and equipment to identify and resolve issues, minimize downtime, and optimize efficiency.
Ensure compliance with quality control procedures and standards, conducting inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Coordinate with other departments, such as engineering, maintenance, and logistics, to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.
Maintain inventory levels of materials and supplies required for production, ordering replenishments as necessary.
Enforce safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment for all employees, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, addressing any disciplinary issues or performance concerns among production staff.
Prepare production reports and performance metrics, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in manufacturing processes to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
ITI certification in Fitter and Electrician trades is required.
Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
Problemsolving abilities and attention to detail to identify and resolve production issues.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices is a plus.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fastpaced environment.
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
