Experience: 7-8 years in the Manufacturing Sector


Responsibilities:


Industrial Safety Management:

  • Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with local, state regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with department heads to integrate safety practices into daily operations.

Conducting Safety Training:

  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct safety training programs for employees at various levels.
  • Develop training materials and ensure that all employees are aware of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of safety training programs and make improvements as needed.

Emergency Planning:

  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans for various scenarios, including fire, chemical spills, and natural disasters.
  • Conduct regular emergency drills to ensure preparedness and evaluate the effectiveness of emergency response procedures.
  • Collaborate with local emergency services to enhance coordination during critical situations.

Maintaining Safety Documentation:

  • Ensure accurate and uptodate documentation of safety procedures, incident reports, and training records.
  • Prepare reports on safety performance, incidents, and near misses for management review.
  • Maintain compliance with all recordkeeping requirements.

Industrial Hygiene:

  • Implement and oversee industrial hygiene programs to monitor and control occupational health hazards.
  • Conduct air quality assessments, noise level monitoring, and other industrial hygiene activities.
  • Recommend and implement measures to improve workplace hygiene and reduce occupational health risks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
2. 7-8 years of relevant experience in industrial safety management within the manufacturing sector.


  • Strong knowledge of local, state regulations.
  • Proven experience in conducting safety training and developing training materials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
