About the role:


  • Technical Operational Role: Maintain and Manage GSDC Windows & Linux infrastructure and ensure to deliver services as per defined SLA and device availability

Key Spoc for:

  • Major and Critical Windows/Linux Incident.
  • Problem Management
  • Change Management
  • Patch & Release Management on Windows/Linux Infra
  • Manage servers Virtualization
  • Capacity Management for Servers
  • Knowledge management (KEDB)
  • High Level and Low Level Design Document preperation capability as part of Solution Consultant / Technical Architect engagements for Server setup.
  • Documentation and Reporting for Servers
  • Vendor Management to deal with technical faults and issues on Servers setup.
  • Effective handling of User/Technical Escalations
  • Ensure Service Delivery as per agreed SLA and AvailablityTroubleshoot High Severity incidents, problem & provide proper RCA for all incidents
Root cause analysis and Preventive maintenance

  • Participate in Change management, assess Risk and Impact and implementation plan
  • Mentor & Hand First line support for server team and enhance their performance
  • Take initiatives in learning, certifications & evaluating new Technology & Tools
  • MIS customer report preparation on technology part
  • Work & Drive OEM for the escalated tickets
  • Driving Technical Knowledge Transfers & awareness session on best practices within teamSupporting Organization operational Goals without penalties.
Supporting Organization on adhearing to ISO process

  • Adhere to all the policy and processes defined in client location

About you:


  • Rich Hands on experience of managing Windows 2016/2019/2022, VMWARE & Linux infrastraacture Administration and Also knowledge on Proxy Management.
  • In depth knowledge of Windows 2016 environment with AD, DNS, IP technologies. Should have good understanding on VMWARE and CLOUD Basics.
  • Hands on experience (installation and maintenance) on Windows 2016/2019/2022 & Linux Products:
  • Knowledge on Active Directory, DNS, Proxy, IP and Server satus monitoring
  • Knowledge Power shell shell management to monitor health of all the physical servers.
  • Creation and management of user accounts in Windows and Linux.
  • Knowledge on Networking and Proxy Management
  • Understanding of backup and Restoration validation of Servers Active Directory, DNS, System State Backups
  • Monitor Windows and Linux servers health related services
  • Exchange 2016 server management and supporting integrated services like ( veritas, mail archaval solution, mail generaling)
  • Monitoring performance and management of user accounts, mail boxes, mail protocols and address book
  • Implementation of mail policies as defined by the State and in accordance with the prevailing Cyber laws, including, user security, access control, encryption, mail box sizes, mail sizes, spam, content filtering, etc.
  • Keeping a track on the mails getting dropped and taking backups of the mailboxes at regular intervals
  • Purging and compaction of mail boxes at regular intervals for optimum utilization of resources as per the policies
  • Deployment of SPAM filter and monitoring mechanism
  • Periodic health check of the systems, troubleshooting problems, analyzing and implementing rectification measures
  • System administration activities shall include tasks, hardware upgrades, hardening and software updates.
  • Experience in server virtualization technology like hypverv, vmware (vm provisioning, cluster management and virtual machine networking and stoage monitoring.
  • Knowledge and work on Automation for Server services and reports.
  • Manage and Maintain Daily/ Weekly Server backup and validation.
  • Daily checklist review of availability of servers and devices status
  • Familarity with Solution Designing with HLD/LLD
  • Awareness of ITIL framework and familiarity with ITSM Tools (like CAtool. Microfocus etc ).
  • Excellent Troubleshooting, analyzing & managing the critical Incidents, Problem tickets with out of the box thought process
  • Experience in designing POA for complex Changes for Server enviroument.
  • Good knowledge in preparing RFO, RCA's, documentation, Knowledge Bank.
  • Positions will require to work in rotational shifts to support 2 7 operations /project assigments
  • BE/Any Graduation in either Electronics/CS/IT
  • MCSA, ITILV3 Foundation (optional)Language proficiency must on following languages
