Job Description:

As a Pharmacist at Vasan Eye Care Hospital, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.

You will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing drug information to healthcare professionals and patients, and maintaining accurate medication records.

Your attention to detail and commitment to patient safety will be vital in this role.

Responsibilities:

Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently to patients, adhering to all legal and professional requirements.
Provide drug information to healthcare professionals and patients, including medication instructions, precautions, and possible side effects.
Maintain and update medication inventory, ensuring proper storage and disposal of medications.
Review prescriptions for accuracy, drug interactions, and contraindications.
Monitor and manage medication therapy, including identifying and resolving medicationrelated issues.
Stay updated with current pharmaceutical knowledge and industry trends.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
Valid state pharmacy license.
Excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical products, drug interactions, and pharmacy laws and regulations.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
