Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive assessments, examinations, and diagnostic tests to identify gastrointestinal disorders and conditions.
Develop personalized treatment plans for patients with digestive system disorders, including prescribing medications, recommending lifestyle changes, and advising on dietary modifications.
Conduct endoscopic procedures, such as gastroscopy and colonoscopy, to visualize and diagnose gastrointestinal conditions.
Interpret test results and imaging studies to determine the appropriate course of treatment.
Consult and collaborate with other specialists and healthcare professionals to provide multidisciplinary care to patients.
Educate patients and their families about gastrointestinal conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures.
Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records of patients, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies.
Adhere to hospital protocols, safety guidelines, and quality standards in all patient interactions and procedures.

Qualifications:

DM/DNB in Gastroenterology from a recognized medical institution.
Valid medical license to practice as a Gastroenterologist in the state of Punjab or eligible for the same.

Experience:
