**Roles and Responsibility

Job Description:

Specializes in testing service-oriented architecture (SOA) systems.

This involves testing the individual services that make up the SOA system, as well as the interactions between those services.

Some of the key responsibilities of a SOA tester include:

Developing and executing test plans for SOA systems
Identifying and documenting defects in SOA systems
Working with developers to troubleshoot and resolve defects
Developing automated testing tools and frameworks
Providing technical guidance and support to other team members
Skills and Experience

SOA Tester must need knowledge and experience which include:

Strong understanding of SOA principles and technologies, such as web services, REST, and XML
Experience with testing methodologies, such as unit testing, integration testing, and system testing
Knowledge of common SOA testing tools, such as SoapUI and Postman
Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java or Python
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Automated testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Cucumber, and Junit is a addon
Defect tracking and management tools, such as JIRA and Bugzilla
Agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum and JIRA
Strong knowledge of SOA principles and technologies, as well as experience with testing methodologies and tools.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Effective communication with development teams and other stakeholders and have excellent problemsolving skills.
In addition to having knowledge and experience with these tools and products, a Test Engineer should also have a strong understanding of software development and testing processes, as well as experience with testing techniques and practices. They should be able to effectively communicate with development teams and other stakeholders, and have excellent problemsolving skills.
Knowledge of Airport Operation or any Airline Domain exposure is a good to have experience
