Inc42 Media is looking for a Product enthusiast who is passionate about product & startups, and to help build India's leading media & intelligence platform.

You will be part of the Founders' Office, that drives important & strategic projects across the company.

You will be working closely with one of the founders on key projects that will drive the next phase of growth for Inc42, from product to engineering to marketing to exploring new opportunities to figuring out alternate GTM strategies.

You will have the flexibility to work on multiple projects.

We are looking for someone entrepreneurial, someone who would ideally like to start a venture in the next 2-3 years.

This role will give you a ringside view of what building startups & products entails.

The person will be mentored by the founders and senior leaders in the company on various aspects of starting up and building products.

Collaborate with Inc42's leadership team and support cross-functional heads across marketing, engineering, and support functions to align strategies and provide operational support, preparing business correspondence, meeting notes, agendas, and assisting on presentations.

Primary Responsibilities

1.

Product:
Market research, user research, product research & documentation
Conducting quality checks, testing and collating feedback
Preparing PRDs, UMLs, SRS', Flow Charts, etc
Building and assisting in product & marketing automations and workflows
Product operations - Assist in setting up and improving product analytics stack, Assist in evaluating the product requirements & prioritise backlog

Product Design:
Translating product concepts into wireframes and mockups
Coordinate with product design, onboard external freelancers
Ensure timelines & assist in design feedback & iterations

3.

Data & Analytics:
Setup, maintain & evolve company wide processes for data management, access & usage
Drive new data-driven cross-functional projects
Developing advanced and comprehensive dashboards for real-time reporting

Essential Skills

Have a technical degree (CS/Engineering) or a degree in Statistics/Economics/Analytics
2+ years of experience in growth or media analytics, advertising sales, digital media, and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.
Demonstrated experience using spreadsheets and/or dash-boarding tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) to analyse marketing performance and forecast future growth. Python/R knowledge will be good to have.
Good knowledge of preparation of BRD, FRD, SRS, Use Case, UML, ER Diagrams & Flow charts.
Should be energetic and willing to learn and excel in a fast paced, cross functional environment.

Hands-on individual who is technically savvy & can work well with all levels and virtual teams, both internal & external.

Excellent communication, organisational and project management skills
Have strong passion for data and are analytical in your problem-solving approach
Have enthusiasm for learning about consumer/media products and passionate about startups
