The opportunity


We are looking for a Microsoft Partner Center Coordinator to function out of the GDS Alliances Delivery Center and to provide ongoing administrative support for the Microsoft Partner Center.

The incumbent will co-develop and thereafter, operationalize the operations support delivery model for the Microsoft Partner Center initiative, ensuring seamless service delivery for ongoing initiatives and will also be responsible for executing special projects that are assigned from time to time.

This role will be part of our Microsoft Operations Coordination portfolio and hence will involve operations coordination assignments when required.


Your key responsibilities

  • Drive the Azure Consumed Revenue (ACR) target for Microsoft Alliance ensure that engagement teams have client tenant access
  • Partner Admin Linkage (PAL)
  • Identify the engagements having Azure Consumption based on the predefined criteria for PAL eligible engagements
  • Connect with Regional leads, EM, EP and Engagement teams for making the PAL connection
  • Follow up on periodic basis
  • Record the PAL completion screenshots received from the Engagement teams and track the status in the PAL tracker
  • Present the status to the Microsoft Alliance team on weekly review calls
  • Ensure all outbound referrals are posted to the Microsoft Partner Centre (for all the sectors, in all the cycles), which will facilitate achieving referral targets for the Microsoft Alliance
  • Identify the top priority opportunities that need to be posted, cascade to CEs
  • Make the referral entries based on the comments from the CEs
  • Share the completed list along with the Referral IDs with the ARD (for sharing with Microsoft)
  • Post outbound referrals from CEs to the Partner Centre (on a request basis)
  • Draft Marketplace offerings, conduct review calls with the Solutions teams, collaborate with the BMC team and Coinnovation team for publishing Microsoft solutions on Marketplace and Appsource
  • Accept inbound cosell deals in Partner Centre for Americas, and contact/collaborate with other global Microsoft CEs for actioning inbound cosell deals for their respective locations
  • Update and maintain the Microsoft solution inventory, share it with the larger Microsoft Alliances team after each solution is published
  • Should have a technology aptitude, technology exposure through experience or academics
  • Exposure to continuous process improvement and automation initiatives (and technologies), experience with process mapping, process documentation, internal audit preparation, facing audits, etc.
  • Should be excellent with MS Excel and Powerpoint, Power Bi skills would be an added advantage
  • Ability to work with senior onshore stakeholders, excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills, should have the ability to develop trusted business advisor relationships with onshore stakeholders
  • Contact tracker maintenance for Microsoft solutions
  • Present on biweekly standup meetings (on every Tuesday and Wednesday)
  • PAL and Referrals status and related process improvement activities
  • Maintain the Microsoft Alliances mailbox and reach out to the respective solution teams on receiving leads for any solutions
  • Track and administer access to the Microsoft Partner Centre, ensure that access is provided only when the prerequisites are fulfilled for the requestor's location
  • Create Microsoft Competency and Certification reports/dashboards on an adhoc request basis
  • Support queries related to the Partner Centre, Referrals, PAL and Solution Publishing
  • Raise tickets to the Microsoft support team and to resolve Partner Centre issues

Skills and attributes for success

  • Sales and pipeline exposure understanding of concepts, opportunity life cycles and reporting
  • Should have experience with virtual working preferable across multiple geographies, including cultural sensitivity, with a global mindset
  • Good at problem solving, should be capable of evaluation, root cause analysis and mitigation, good interpersonal skills, analytical thinking and research capabilities, comfortable interacting across multiple groups & working with various other teams towards the appropriate solution or resolution
  • Good project management skills project budgets, execution and tracking, reviews, strong time management skills including prioritizing, organizing and tracking details and meeting a series of aggressive deadlines of multiple projects or assign
