Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot issues and outages
  • Ensure security through access controls and firewalls
  • Update firmware's with new releases and models
  • Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
  • Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
  • Ability to ensure network services are configured, optimized and supported to achieve high availability and functionality. Lead or participate in projects to improve network services and develop procedures to support newly implemented technologies.

Skills required

  • Configuration and Troubleshooting knowledge of SSL VPNs.
  • Basic LAN configuration understanding
  • Vlans, Trunks, Etherchannels, STP, SPAN, RSPAN, inter VLAN routing
  • Should be able to Analyze Traces / Logs received from customer / field.
  • Good understanding of Protocols (All layers) TCP, IP, UDP, SMTP, LDAP, TELNET, SSH, PORT Numbers.
  • Good knowledge of services like DHCP, NTP, ARP, NAT, and ACL.
  • Good knowledge in Networking devices
  • Switches, Routers and Dell SonicWALL Firewalls, Dell SRA/SMA Device, Meraki firewalls and WAPs(Ruckus\Cisco\Meraki)
