Key Responsibilities and Duties

They are adept in the use of tools and technologies across tiers, and are proficient in working with systems infrastructure, creating, querying & manipulating databases, APIs and integration, Frontend code (HTML/CSS, bootstrap, React JS, Angular JS) and web stack backend technologies (PHP, Python, Java, ruby on rails etc.).
They have a sound understanding of CI/CD processes, agile development.
They possess deep understanding of programming fundamentals and can learn new frameworks, languages and tools as required on projects.

Job Description:

Hands on developer capable of debugging the system and fixing the production related issues.
Strong ability to analyze functional needs that drive the analysis and technical design of quality technical solutions.
Implements solutions that are aligned with business/IT strategies and complies with Nuveen's Architectural standards.
Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies; Provides mentoring and training to more junior staff.
Handles complex operational tasks and recommends processing and technology changes.
Investigate, analyze and document reported defects
Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates that meet SDLC standards
Leads and develops complex architecture requirements analysis to convert end user needs into technical solutions.
Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture
Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / nonfunctional business requirements
Communicates the design of the technical architecture clearly to other leaders within the organization.
Designs the development and implementation of the overall architecture, and helps define "blueprint" for technical architecture to support mission needs.

Qualification / Skillsets (Python, AWS - EKS, S3, Lambda, Glue, EMR, RDS Data Stores, CloudFront, API Gateway, ), Snowflake)

5+ years of experience of IT platform implementation in a technical and analytical role
Expertise in AWS data services such as Amazon Elastic Compute (EC2), Glue, Amazon S3, EKS, Lambda etc.
Desirable to have worked on following tools: Eventbridge, AppFlow, AirFlow
Must have worked in financial service industry with sound knowledge of investment management and its related concepts.
Good Communication Skills
