Description
Define and manage a long-term vision and portfolio of initiatives to improve the customer experience and business results through creating world-class metrics, analysis, visualizations, and data-driven storytelling.
- Interface with Executive Leadership to understand strategic priorities and align with Business Intelligence Roadmap.
- Drive a Business Intelligence roadmap; prioritize business insight requests to balance the tactical and strategic information needs of the business
- Collaborate and partner with Finance and Operations teams to understand, anticipate, and respond to current and future information needs
- Lead the definition and governance of key business metrics, drive the vision and building of selfservice analytic capabilities, and engineer datadriven processes that drive business value
- Design, develop, and implement standardized reporting structure and cadence. Develop best practices and lead the team to assimilate and adopt best methods.
- Identify areas for improvement, incorporating bestinclass and cuttingedge techniques, and designing new approaches and methodologies.
- PRIMARY SKILLS
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience in business intelligence, analytics, statistics, data engineering, data science, or related field
- 7+ years experience in a people management role
- Expert level technical proficiency in dashboard development, analytical tool building, data extraction, and data flows and architecture
- Experience in RPA projects implementation
- Extensive experience negotiating requirements and setting, managing, and communicating priorities and expectations
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a passion to impose structure on seemingly undefined problems
- Experience and familiarity with BI platforms (e.g. Power BI, Business Objects, Tableau, Tableau CRM, etc.)
- Strong communication skills. Must be able to brief senior leaders on project statuses while also translating and aggregating complex analyses into a concise and relatable explanation of findings.
- SECONDARY SKILLS
- Ability to foster collaborative relationships with other crossfunctional teams in a highly matrixed organization.
- Understanding of new industry trends and best practices in the Business Intelligence domain.
- Ability to not only consume technical, financial, and business documentation fluidly and quickly, but also retain and articulate information based on research
- Strong project management and change management skills.
