Regional Procurement ASP > Direct Material Procurement ASP > Direct Material Procurement SEA Nacelle
Global Procurement is overall responsible for all strategic procurement activities within Vestas Wind System A/S. This role is a part of Global Procurement team, working as Purchaser supporting global and regional procurement activities of Mechanical ( Yaw Drive, heating and cooling system)

Responsibilities

You will supervise Mechanical suppliers who supports Vestas globally
Be supplier account manager for a set of Mechanical suppliers delivering into your area of responsibility
Coordinate localization projects and propel cost out both supporting the India region but also Vestas globally
Complete and promote selection, qualification, negotiation and contracting of and with suppliers
Supervise stakeholders such as production sites and suppliers in relation to value chain optimization, cost out plans and complexity reduction
Ensure adherence to KPI's set by global procurement in regards to safety, quality, cost, delivery, innovation and sustainability
Support the global Vestas factories with specific focus on the Nacelles factories in India, Denmark, US and China

Qualifications

Any Relevant Degree BSC or Engineering or allied with minimum 58 years of work experience within strategic sourcing
You are an skilled IT user (Microsoft Office) especially SAP, Excel, Power Point and generally an easy learner when it comes to SAP systems, data analysis etc

Competencies

An good and efficient in task and project execution and always eager to find solutions to the issues
Project management skills and also able to keep the longterm perspective
Should always be pragmatic and solution oriented in your approach and take full ownership of your area of responsibility
Fluent in English both verbally and in writing
