A Neurologist is a specialized medical doctor responsible for the health of the nervous system in the human body. This includes the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles relating to the nervous system. Their duties include the diagnosis, treatment, and management of nervous system diseases and disorders.


Neurologist duties and responsibilities


As a highly trained medical specialist, a Neurologist is responsible for the care of patients with diseases and disorders of the nervous system.

Whether in a private practice or in a hospital setting, they assess and treat neurological issues, maintaining or improving the quality of life for their patients.

The key duties and responsibilities of a Neurologist may include:


  • Provide medical diagnosis and treatment for diseases and disorders of the nervous system
  • Maintain complete and accurate patient medical records
  • Provide health counselling to patients and family members
  • Educate patients on the presentation of nervous system disease, including risk factors, genetics, and the effect of their surrounding environment
  • Rehabilitation of patients with neurological disorders to maintain or improve the ability for daily quality of life
  • Coordinate the activities of a larger health care team to ensure proper care of neurological conditions
  • Education and training to support other Physicians and medical students during their residency training
  • Conduct or participate in clinical and neurological research studies

Salary:
₹30, ₹40,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • 2D animation: 2 years (preferred)
